A mother dog gave birth to her puppies inside a cave. Then she was killed by a car. Someone called Blanca and Blanca called AWARE. Fortunately for the puppies, Blanca’s brother is uncharacteristically slender. Even so, after squeezing inside and handing the 6 puppies out 1 by 1, he had trouble extricating himself. Another hero. The whole rescue took 4 hours. Back at Hound Heights 2 other puppies were arriving with someone else at the same time, so all 8 are now together, and the 4 sick ones are now fully recovered. They will all be spayed/neutered soon, and will be ready for adoption.
