In Guatemala, life can be hard, especially for animals on the streets. Near Sumpango, in the beautiful contryside, a dedicated group of people are working to make a difference. Animal AWARE is an NGO promoting animal welfare, running spay/neuter clinics, and also a rescue shelter caring for over 300 animals. That over 300 wagging tails! They receive food, shelter and love. They are available for adoption. If not adopted, they become part of the AWARE family.
With very limited resources, we work very hard to keep the animals healthy and properly fed. Vaccines and medicines are important for us. You can help us raise money for medicines.
