David Ulivieri is an animal-loving cyclist with a big heart and an even bigger vision. He has already achieved several sponsored long-distance bike rides to raise funds to help stray animals, and during his most recent (just completed) ride from Utah to Costa Rica he stopped at the AWARE shelter in Sumpango, Guatemala to visit and spend the night. AWARE then sponsored two nights in a hotel in Antigua for him, to give him a bit of a break from the arduous road, and the chance to visit one of Guatemala’s tourist gems.
