We have an average of 250 dogs available for adoption, all of whom have been cured of whatever they were suffering from when they arrived, are socialised with other dogs and humans, are up-to-date with their shots, and have been spayed or neutered. There are a hundred reasons for adopting a rescue dog and if you’ve got this far you probably know them all.
The idea is to have a gallery of all available dogs on display on this page, with photo, name, age, shot record, a brief history, and any other relevant information. We are not there yet! and beg your indulgence. It’s a massive project, and if you can help, or know someone who could help, please get in touch.
In the meantime, please bear with us. There’s a small selection of photos here, to give you an idea of the variety and appealingness of the AWARE residents. Some of these dogs are still with us at the Shelter, and some aren’t. If you are interested in giving a dog a good, loving home, would like to adopt from AWARE, and are in Guatemala – come and visit! The dogs would love to see you. Otherwise just drop us an e-mail requesting information to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each dog needs a new life and you can help!
